Prayer Request

I'm writing this tonight with a great sense of saddness yet peace...Baby Maddox Elise Hodge is now back with her heaven Father. Loni went for her weekly check up today and Maddie's heart beat was silent. There is no way to tell when she made her journey home for sure, but she is in her Father's hands. Justin and Loni and holding up as well as can be expected. Loni has updated her blog, and I feel it is okay to share their news. Loni will be induced tomorrow at 7am at UAB. I will be traveling up there in the morning, and be will with them to take pictures of Maddie. PLEASE pray for them, their family, and me. Thanks- Steph

Welcome to SS Gabe and Kara Karns!

We have decided to wrap up the "Men are like Waffles, Women are Like Spagtti Book", and will start the quarterly. It is a great book, but we feel that it really covers things we have already covered.

Tamara is starting to get things going for some socials. I think we are looking at having "super club" groups which will made up of 3 to 4 couples. It we give us an opportunity to meet with each other in smaller groups and get to know each other better. Also, we have talked about going bowling as a group. Keep an eye out for upcoming events!

Marriage Seminar will be held at FBC on MArch 21st. I think it cost $45 a couple, and you have to sign up for it.

Monday nights Bible Study for Couples is at Barry and Laura Willis' house. The men and women spilt off to have separate Bible study time. Everyone is welcome!

Tons of new classes starting at the end of January. Please see your bullent or the church website. It's time to get plugged in!!

February 6th is First Fridays. It is $7 and a great time for fellowship! We can all meet up and sit together of anyone would like to come. They are great about working with the "lunch hour"!

Glad to be back!!!
We started our new book and guess what!!?? When men say they are thinking about "nothing". They really are thinking about "nothing". How weird! We look forward to what else we will learn about how God made us for each other! Just proves to me over and over how prefect God has put everything together!
The books ("Men are Like Waffles - Women are Like Spaghetti" by Bill and Pam Farrell) are at Lighthouse bookstore for about $13. You do have to ask for it!!

Welcome Back!!

Welcome Back guys! I feel like it has been forever with all the holidays and everyone traveling! We pray everyone had a blessed Christmas! We are praying that each couple will be in the house of the Lord every Sunday to be refreshed with His spirit and to grow in His word!!! We look forward to seeing each of you!!

We will be starting a new study. After the votes were cast the book "Men are like waffles and Woman are like Spaghetti" won. It will be an exciting look at how God has made us so different yet so perfect for each other. And I'm sure have lots of laughs! The church will not provide these books. You do not have to have this book, but it would be helpful. I will get the "official" name and author and post it.

We want to welcome Paul and Beth Cox and Patrick and Carey Holland to are class! Hope to see you guys again!!

Congrats to Will and Caroline who are expecting their 1st baby!!!!

Just to let the class know that Krisan lost Grandma Pat on Dec. 27th. Please keep her and her family in your prayers!
